Dog Days of Summer Mural in Johnson City, TN

This project is one of my favorites. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love dogs. So obviously, I had so much fun creating this fun day in the park with all these dogs who are doing what people do in the parks! It even features my own two dogs and the cat I rescued.   

I used the Pellon process. Me, my assistant, and some volunteers painted 54 panels in my studio and installed them in Johnson City.  The gorgeous highlights you see are the mosaics by Melissa Wiley! She created her interpretation of my design and installed her mosaics after the mural was installed. Completed in 2023!
